How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Representing life, health and disability insurance companies has been approximately two-thirds of our Managing Attorney's practice since 1989.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Because our attorneys practice statewide, they have an unmatched understanding of how the legal issues facing the firm's clients will be treated by judges and juries throughout California. The firm also uses a business model that enables it to handle complex litigation at reasonable rates, often on terms that other firms cannot (or simply will not) offer.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
For the past 3 years, our firm has been based in San Ramon. Before then, our office was in Walnut Creek. We expect to open satellite offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles by the end of January 2009.
Provide detailed directions to your location
Our main office is in the Bishop Ranch Office Park. From Interstate 680, exit at either Crow Canyon Road or Bollinger Canyon Road, then head east. We are located on Alcosta Boulevard, between Crow Canyon Road and Bollinger Canyon Road (and just south of Norris Canyon Road).
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash or check. We also expect to soon be able to accept payments by credit card.
Which areas do you service?
We have a statewide practice, and our expertise sometimes prompts clients to ask that we assist with litigation that is pending elsewhere in the western United States.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Robert R. Pohls is our Managing Attorney.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.
