The Mission of Be the Star You Are!®, a not-for- profit corporation, is to provide, promote and distribute its library of books and other media to empower women, families, and youth-at-risk to improve their daily lives through improved literacy, increased positive media and messages, and tools for living.
We publish, distribute, sell books (www.bethestaryouare.com). Outreach programs include producing a radio show showcasing authors and books (http://www.BethestaryouareRadio.com), mentor teens, book review service, Express Yourself Creative Center(www.btsya.com), Operation Disaster Relief, volunteer opportunities. We also work with court appointed youth. Our motto is "To be a leader you must be a reader. Read, lead, succeed!" All donations are tax deductible.
