St. Isidore Church has been home to the Catholic community of Danville and its outlying areas since 1912. Currently, under the pastorship of Fr. Gerry Moran, the church has 4,700 registered families, a Blue Ribbon school for grades K - 8, and over 100 ministries.
Relgious education programs abound at St. Isidore. Faith Formation classes for the primary grades meet on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 4 - 5 PM. Jr. High classes meet on Wednesdays from 7 - 8 PM. Confirmation for teens is a two year program, starting in the freshman year (meeting times vary).
The church also offers numerous adult programs. ReConnect helps Catholics who have been away from their faith to become active members. RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) introduces non-Catholics who are interested in learning about the faith to hearing and seeing how the Christian community preaches and lives the Good News of Jesus Christ. Confirmation classes for adults who missed this sacrament meet from October to January. An active Bible Study also meets seasonally (Wednesday mornings and Thursday evenings.)
