We opened for business in 1997.
What is your primary product or service?
We repair and service Mercedes Benz, BMW, Mini, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen and Volvo automobiles. We are an independent facility.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Carlos Showing's career prior to co-founding European Auto Repair in 1997 is as follows:
Mr. Showing initially trained at the highly-respected Senati Automotive Technical Institute in Lima, Peru
He also trained at the Scania Mercedes Benz and Volvo dealerships in Lima, Peru.
From 1985 - 1989 he served at the prestigious Rallye Mercedes Benz & Rolls Royce dealerships in Roslyn, NY (Long Island).
From 1989 to 1997 he served at the noted STEAD MOTORS Mercedes Benz dealership in Walnut Creek, CA
He became the sole owner of European Auto Repair in 2008.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We take pride in personal service. In most cases, your service adviser will be the business owner. While we do look at your vehicle's overall condition and recommend service when needed, we also consider your budget, sometimes pointing out items that can be later scheduled so you can plan accordingly.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location - with no immediate plans for more locations.
